There is no better time to visit a prairie than summer, when flowers are at their peak bloom. This easy hike will explore the park’s grasslands to view and identify many of the flowers, grasses and pollinators that depend on these plants. No registration required.

Drop in anytime during program hours with your curiosity to see what insect species have been attracted to the lights — an awesome opportunity to capture images of night-flying insects! Flashlights and cameras recommended. Be prepared for mosquitoes. No registration required.
